After a hiatus of many years, the German sports car manufacturer is back with the Project Thunderball retro convertible.
Under the bonnet, there are no more petrol-powered sixes or eights from BMW – now it’s an electric car.
The electric motors are powered by an 83 kWh battery supporting a voltage of 800 volts. Up to 300 kW can be charged with a fast charger. A braking recovery system is also fitted. The driving range on a single charge is up to 500 kilometres.
