Gibbs Aquada: specs, price, horsepower, top speed and acceleration 0 – 100

Gibbs Aquada is a high-speed floating car. Designed by Alan Gibbs.

The Amphibious is a three-seater doorless convertible. There are no doors for safety reasons: if there are no doors, then there are no seals, the slightest breach of which threatens a leak. In case of leakage, the developers have provided three independent pumps that will start to pump out the water upon sensor’s command in case of emergency situation or when the water got inside the saloon in rough seas. As I have already mentioned there are three seats in Aquada, the driver’s seat is centred and moved forward slightly relative to the passenger’s seat, during the “water procedures” it is lifted by servos, because the visibility is impaired due to raising of the nose.
