Porsche has teamed up with German luxury tuning studio 9ff to create one of the fastest cars in the world, the Porsche 9ff GT9-R.
The new car has already been affectionately nicknamed Blaue Schaetzchen, which translates from German as ‘blue treasure’.
In addition to the tuning elements, the Porsche 9ff GT9-R features a specially selected blue paintwork. This colour will appeal to both male and female drivers alike, according to the marketing team. A total of 20 cars will be assembled.
The front of the car is designed in the style of the Porcshe GT3, while the rear is based on NASCAR car technology, i.e. all body components and panels are based on a spatial tubular frame. The body panels are made from Kevlar and carbon fibre.

9ff GT9-R engine:
The engine of the Porsche 9ff GT9-R is a four-litre opposition engine, located at the rear, but shifted closer to the driver for better weight distribution. Only the cooling system, gearbox housing and mufflers are visible from the rear.
The intake system is coated in gold, as this material has good heat-reflecting properties. Forged pistons and titanium connecting rods allow this 4-litre engine to be boosted to 1,120bhp, which is a lot when you consider that 280bhp per litre is produced.
