Bentley’s factory-owned Mulliner division has unveiled the exclusive Bacalar roadster, named after Mexico’s namesake lagoon.
The roadster features rounded headlamps with subtle LED strips on the sides and a large rectangular grille with a blacked out fine-meshed pattern. The car has a long bonnet with air vents, while from the side the two-door is notable for the presence of vertical air intakes on the front fenders.
Only 12 examples of the Bacalar will be built at Mulliner. But, the entire run of the exclusive model is already sold out.

The Bacalar is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre W12 petrol engine. The latter develops 659 bhp and 900 Nm of torque, working in tandem with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic and all-wheel drive system.

Inside, there are two luggage compartments instead of a rear sofa, and the Italian firm Schedoni has created a pair of travel bags specifically for them, which the customer will receive with the car. The seats are upholstered in natural wool. Bentley also points out that the interior is finished with five thousand-year-old wood, sourced from the ancient marshes of East Anglia.
The Bacalar’s interior boasts a digital instrument panel and a rotating multimedia display on the centre console.
The interior is also characterized by a premium two-tone finish with many exclusive features. Take for example the inserts on the dash made from 5,000-year-old trees that have fallen in the marshes, or the seats, each with 148,199 hand-stitched stitches. And behind the seats, developers have included special hoods designed to protect passengers in the event of a rollover.
