The Aston Martin Vulcan is a unique trackside hypercar that aims to compete with the world’s fastest cars.
The car, based on a carbon-fibre monocoque, has a wide and low body with a long bonnet and a sloping rear cab. Noticeable differences are the huge air intakes, the ‘hidden’ headlights, the striking tail lights created from 27 individual light bars on each side, the splitter at the front and the impressive anti-wings at the rear.
The titanium exhaust system bifurcates at the exit, and 20 cm tongues of flame burst out of the titanium spigots when downshifting.
To ensure perfect handling, the Aston Martin Vulcan features a racing suspension with adjustable adaptive dampers and anti-roll bars, a limited slip differential on the rear axle, Brembo brakes with 380 and 360 mm carbon ceramic discs front and rear respectively.
