The Puritalia Berlinetta is Italy’s most powerful hybrid supercar to date.
The sports car is based on a chassis made of carbon fibre and aluminium, with aluminium suspension components. The body panels of the two-door are made of carbon fiber.

Puritalia Berlinetta engine:
Under the bonnet is a hybrid powertrain that combines a V8 engine at the front and an electric motor at the rear. The V8 5.0 petrol engine is based on the Ford Ti-VCT unit and is mounted at the front within the wheelbase. The engine is equipped with a drive supercharger and produces 750bhp and 878Nm. The electric motor is supplied by Yasa and is docked to the differential housing and produces 215bhp and 370Nm. The gearbox is relegated to the rear axle and is a seven-speed robot with a single three-disc clutch.

The electric motors are powered by three lithium-ion phosphate batteries with a total capacity of 5.2 kWh, operating at 700 volts: the main unit is mounted in the rear overhang, with two additional units behind the seat backs. With a fully charged battery, the Berlinetta can travel up to 20 km on electric power.
