In 1969 Abarth and Pininfarina engineers joined forces to create a concept car with futuristic looks and impressive performance.

 

It was made unique by its unsupported 180-degree bodywork, retractable front headlights, glass engine cover and open tail section.

The FIAT Abarth 2000 Scorpione is currently owned by Japanese architect Shiro Kosaka. It has been on display at the Abarth Gallery near Lake Yamanaka in Japan since 1992.
