The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione is a sports car from the renowned Milanese manufacturer. The first concept model was unveiled in 2003 at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The design of the sports car involved both the staff of the Milan-based company and Maserati’s finest specialists. Together, they managed to create something truly stunning. The body is streamlined and as aerodynamic as possible. It is based on a carbon-fibre monocoque. The bonnet and roof of the Alfa 8C is also made from this strong and ultralight material.
The sports car has rear-wheel drive and an independent double wishbone spring-type suspension. The car is equipped with a high-performance and reliable braking system. According to official information, the braking distance from 97 km/h to a full stop is only 32 metres.
The car was produced in a batch of 1,000 units (500 coupes and the same number of spyders).
