There are only seven examples of the Alfa Romeo Disco Volante Spyder. The car was created by the design geniuses at Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera and is based on the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione Spider.
Each Spyder has a unique handcrafted aluminium and carbon fibre body. It took 4,000 man-hours and six months to produce one car. Only seven copies of the 0.25 drag coefficient model were made, but no two are alike because the Disco Volantes have different colours.
To be able to enjoy driving even in bad weather, the company has used an innovative double carbon roof, with such a design offering a number of benefits such as beauty, lightness, and practicality. Each roof weighs 3.5 kg and is designed for convenient storage in the boot, while leaving space for its intended use.
