Bugatti Mistral: specs, price, horsepower, top speed and acceleration 0 – 100

The French Bugatti brand has unveiled the W16 Mistral roadster based on the Chiron hypercar.

A car named after the mistral, the powerful wind that blows from the Rhone valley, across the chic towns of the Côte d’Azur in the south of France and into the Mediterranean Sea.

The new car features an all-new body design and a heavily redesigned carbon-fibre monocoque. The design of the hypercar makes extensive use of advanced composite materials combined with 3D printing in titanium and aluminium. The inspiration for the designers was the Bugatti Type 57 Roadster Grand Raid.

The signature grille has been made more three-dimensional and the air intake system has been redesigned. The car has been given vertical headlamps in the Divo and La Voiture Noire style. The X-shaped lantern references the Bolide model and also acts as a vent for the side oil coolers.
