Tata Motors has unveiled the new Tamo sub-brand and its first vehicle – the mid-engine sports coupe Tamo Racemo – in Geneva.
It is a small production model that will be launched in an edition of not more than 250 units. The sports car was designed by an Italian studio in Turin under the direction of 77-year-old genius Marcello Gandini.
The two-door is built on the original MMS (MOFlex Multi-Material Sandwich) modular platform with independent double wishbone suspensions and anti-roll bars. The body is predominantly aluminium.

Tamo Racemo engine:
The Tamo Racemo comes with a small displacement (1.2 litre) but impressive performance (190 bhp) engine that works in tandem with a six-speed robot.
There is an all-electric version, which has a 204bhp engine and can travel up to 350 km on a single charge.

The small-capacity athlete can reach a hundred in under six seconds.

Tamo Racemo interior:
Inside, there are bucket seats and three displays with trip information and on-board telemetry. The interior features a steering wheel with enlarged buttons and an unusual dashboard trim.
