AMC Rebel: specs, price, horsepower, top speed and acceleration 0 – 100

The AMC Rebel was produced from 1967 to 1970 in the USA, Canada, Australia, Belgium, Mexico, and New Zealand. The car was available in saloon, hardtop, station wagon and convertible versions.

The 114-inch (2896 mm) wheelbase load-bearing body was given a completely new design, in keeping with the trends of the late 1960s: protruding rear wings, wide chrome bumpers and twin headlamps in line with the radiator grille.

The first 1000 machines were painted in white, red and blue (colours of the American flag), so they were hunted down by AMC patriots. Later, Machine cars could be ordered in any colour, but only if the Rebel factory had the appropriate paint.
