The EXP 100 GT coupe is Bentley’s own Centenary gift, taking a cue from the company’s past and showing the direction in which the British marque will take the brand.
The Bentley EXP 100 GT is 5.8 metres long and almost 2.4 metres wide, with all-electric propulsion. The two-metre wide doors soar to a height of almost three metres when opened. The body is made of aluminium and carbon fibre, so it weighs just 1,900 kg.
The concept’s attention to detail has been focused on the materials used, most of which emphasize the car’s eco-friendliness. For example, the paintwork is made from recycled rice husks, while the leather-like seat upholstery is made from waste wine. The proximity to nature is further accentuated by British sheep wool rugs, embroidered cotton inserts, wood panelling made from 5,000-year-old oak harvested from peat bogs, and an eco-friendly salon perfume featuring notes of sandalwood and oak moss.

The coupe of the future has no traditional instruments – only LED panels mounted in the upholstery and projection screens. Most of the secondary functions will be controlled by voice and gestures, which the artificial intelligence must learn to interpret accurately. It will also use biometric sensors and cameras to monitor the condition of all occupants and automatically adjust the position of their seats, the temperature, and humidity of the surrounding air, odours, and lighting.
