GT by Citroën is an interpretation of a grand touring car, the result of a collaboration between Citroën and Polyphony Digital Inc (creators of the simulation game Gran Turismo 5).
The concept car won the prestigious Louis Vuitton Classic Concept Award for best concept car of the year. The car was designed by Japanese designer Takumi Yamamoto of local Style Citroën.
GT by Citroën was unveiled at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. The car was seen and the company received a number of orders for the car. In 2009, it was announced that Citroën would make six exclusive supercars after all. But a year later, these plans were cancelled.
