The Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo concept car was revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show in autumn 2015.
The car was created to be ‘introduced’ into the Gran Turismo video game, but it was also the forerunner of a future small-scale supercar, the Chiron.
The single cab of the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo is designed for the driver only, there are no passenger seats. There are no elements of luxury or special comfort either, this has allowed the car’s weight to be reduced as much as possible. Even the rearview mirrors are removed to reduce weight and improve aerodynamics.
The developers of the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo did not aim for speed, but for maximum cornering stability. They managed to create an incredibly fast and stable concept model.
